One thing is for sure, you are not looking for God, but simply attacking my be!iefs, and before you say it, no, I'm not playing the victim.
You know enough to decide if you want to know God or not.
I hope you do and pursue Him.
Maybe you have already read Pilgrims Progress, but if not, I suggest you do.

Theland, you ARE playing the victim again. People - lots of people - have asked you (lots of times) for this proof, evidence that you assert you have. All you ever say is 'read the Bible', 'read it properly'. It's exasperating that you can pick and choose pieces to suit you - some parts we're simply to accept as true as you say so, other parts we're told are 'metaphorical' and we shouldn't take them literally. Do you not see your avoidance tactics lead many of us to conclude that your evidence, proof, simply doesn't exist?
Theland, Don’t you think that’s a bit dramatic? One line doesn’t equate to something akin to a police interview or a cross examination by any stretch of the imagination. You asked me what I'm looking for and I told you.
You want others to justify their claims but when you’re asked to do likewise you complain. How does that work then?
And yes, I have read the Pilgrim’s Progress.

Never - You will have to remain exasperated.
You need to seriously consider the evidence on which you base your own worldview.
And please don't say science.
Science has no agreed or credible explanation for the creation of the universe.
Science has no clue how inert chemicals became life.
Evolution by random change and natural selection is so flawed as to be ridiculous.
None of these three contradict the bible.

Theland, as well as remaining 'exasperated', I will continue to believe that your claims are, as always, baseless. I don't 'need to seriously consider...' anything as unlike you, I am not regularly spouting ill-considered, illogical, often untrue statements. If and when I do, I'd be prepared to attempt to back these up. I know you've never managed that yet, but the eternal optimist in me thinks 'maybe one day he'll manage it, maybe...'
Theland, many of your statements about science are as off-beam as your assertions about the Bible. You seem desperate to cling onto the 'scientists can't prove otherwise, so my God stuff is right, it must be right, there's nothing else.' I don't mind leaving you to your illusions (delusions?), but please don't insult everyone by claiming knowledge that you don't have.
