I Do Not Believe The Myth That Adam And Eve Were The 1St Humans.

Same goes for this bloke referred to as jesus. Is there any reliable proof of his existence apart from stories in dubious books ?

A surprising number of people believe in the Adam & Eve story. The much lauded Creation Museum in the USA defies all rationality. As for Jesus, there is no reliable proof of his existence but personally I think he did exist - albeit as a man rather than a miracle.

Is there a “plausible” explanation? Probably not. However as a Christian who believes God created everything in the very beginning I don’t need to find “plausibility“ in it. I know for many that seems odd but my , (very simple) faith means I don’t need to try disprove it. Strangely enough tho I also believe in evolution .,.. because, (for me) I don’t think the 7 day creation story necessarily equates to 7 x 24hr periods. God has “no time” so perhaps a day was a million years? And so perhaps man did begin as an amoeba or something... but that, to me, doesn’t detract that GOD created it all.
On the Jesus topic many historians (non Christian) believe that He existed. Whether or not you believe He was a normal man or the son of God is again where faith comes in. I personally feel no need to question it: I
Believe Jesus was ... and still is ... really the son of God.

For once, I agree with Naomi, that many people believe in the Adam & Eve story. Not just Christians, but Muslims also believe that Adam was the founder of the human race.
As for Jesus Christ, he did exist. He was the Son of God who took on a human form in order to glorify his father. Flavius Josephus who is a famous Jewish historian refers to James, “the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ.”
In fact, a surprising amount of information regarding Jesus can be found in secular history.
As for the point that man was created in God's image, this is where those who say they understand the Bible, fall flat on their faces. Man was created in God's image, but not as you think, looking like him. No way as no one knows how God looks. But to be created in God's image is in that man has God's qualities to a limited degree. Just as God has power, so as man! God has justice, so has man, also love and wisdom. Who of you has never used any of those qualities?
If you say you haven't then I say you're lying!
