Atheists, or rather Hatetheists, refuse to recognise thedd signs of the times, which are comprehensively described in the bible, which is accurate.
Stubbornness prevents the Hatetheists from recognising the truth.
Covid is but one aspect, but is like the first domino to fall, the rest will crash soon.
You can check what the bible says yourself, and compare it to contemporary events.

The disciples of Jesus, were, of course, just working class fishermen, not academics, and I'm sure Jesus did not focus His attention merely on the Pharasaic class, bit the farmers, servants, and of course, carpenters.

Incidentally, the bible never claims that Jesus was a carpenter - and he wasn’t without his wealthy followers either. Joseph of Arimathea, the fellow who was instrumental in the aftermath of Jesus’ crucifixion was by no means a pauper. A handy man to know.

His ministry was for the will of God, not lessons in cabinet making.
But Mark 6:3 and Mat 13: 54-55 shed light on it.

My point is that contrary to your claims Jesus' followers were not all ‘working class’.

You’re having another deliberate head in the sand moment. Off the top of my head I can think of two prophecies attributed to Jesus - both clearly nonsense. The first that the temple would be destroyed - you now have the evidence you required to confirm that was written after the event - and the second, that he would return within the lifetimes of the disciples. He didn’t. If you want the truth, Theland, you have to be true to yourself.

As has been pointed out to you endless times, you can make any facts 'fit' a prophesy if you want to - and obviously you do, because you mention it almost daily.

Jesus foretold the destruction of the temple, and it happened in 70 AD.
That is a fact, agreed by Bart Erhman, new testament scholar, and now an agnostic. Renowned for his expertise.
We are all guilty of bringing our own bias to the discussion, something all of us need to be aware of.

Theland, none of the New Testament was written by anyone who met Jesus or heard him speak - including Paul. All of it came after Jesus' death and therefore no element of his life, as recorded, can be considered ‘fact’. At best it can only possibly be considered hearsay. The anonymous author of the first gospel, written at around the time of the destruction of Jerusalem knew the temple had been destroyed before he put pen to paper (so to speak). Fulfilling prophecy is not difficult when you’re pre-armed with the necessary information.

Theland.... I don't think anyone knows in which temple Jesus was when his alleged prophecy was made. It is said that there were a number of such buildings on Temple hill in Jerusalem. Also there are a lot of Evangelicals who claim that Jesus was referring to his own body as the temple which was destroyed when he was crucified.

Anyway, staying with your line of discussion (as you sometimes refer to your unproven statements) read what is fact and somewhat proverbial.
