Thay doesn't sound like scrutiny. It sounds like the words of someone whose mind was completely made up before paying the minimum of lip service to the faiths he was supposedly scrutinising.

Nothing there sounds more preposterous than flooding an entire world, returning from the dead, turning water into wine or turning people into pillars of salt.

You call that "great wisdom", I suggest "High Fantasy" be a better phrase.

You have read the bible, and the account of mankind's fall from grace, leaving a fallen world of sickness sin and death.
That is the bible.
I didn't write it.
It is the word of a Holy God, who always does what is right.
We have to trust Him to always do what is right.
But your atheism means that it poses no problem for you.
