Only the bible describes the state of the world as we head into the End Times.
Only the bible has verifiable prophecies that can be tested for truth.
Is it not time to take the bible seriously?

the letter in the Times today said: Bible Studies Dear Sir, Keith Elliott writes about the debate over the exclusive authority of the New Testament (credo letters). Christians believe that canonical scripture was established under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. That some books entered the canon 'by the skin of their teeth' is immaterial....

Khandro // archibaldy Yeah, why don't you do just that. //
I have indeed, my free Good News version (illustrated), given to me in the first year of secondary school has been sat collecting dust since those earlier days, a sentimental reminder of simpler times and it's unleafed through pages testament to my unawareness of the true state of the world as we are heading into the End Times, oblivious of the nailed on prophecies, and bereft of moral compass.

I have been on holiday for a week, so have come late to this thread.
I scanned through the first 150'ish posts, and then gave up because it is exactly the same as alll the others.
Theland yet again advises us that the bible is 'prophesy' and then castigates responders who fail to agree with him - which is all but one, maybe two, honestly who cares?
Others offer the same arguments that have been offered time and again to Theland, who rejects them all as either being offered by people who despise his beliefs, or people who simply don't understand his position, or a variation of either or both.
I would never wish to detract from traffic which is the lifeblood of a site I love, but once again i find myself wondering - why on earth is anyone bothering?
From either side, the positions have been set in stone years ago, and not one milimetre of movement has been achieved from either side pursuading the other.
I do understand Theland's continual posting - he believes he has an important message to impart, and is not remotely discouraged by the wholesale rejection of it he receives day in and day out.
But I do wonder why anyone else engages in exchanges which are clearly as repetitive as they are pointless.
