Jesus said to NOT isolate yourself...he asked us to copy him....(John 13:15) For I set the pattern for you, that just as I did to you, you should also do.
Then he told us why he was SENT to us...(Luke 4:43) But he said to them: “I must also declare the good news of the Kingdom of God to other cities, because for this I was sent.”
You cannot do this from on top of a pole.
And what was he trying to achieve..?
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
To do this we have to talk to the world...but not necessarily join in their pagan ways.
