The Jews were persecuted for bring Jews, nothing else.
You can never blame the victim for the offence.
Even if the promised land had never existed things would still be the same as the Jews would still have been persecuted by us.
WW2 would still have occurred, they still would'nt be wanted by anyone so they world have still returned to Palestine as it was the only place on earth where they had never been fully displaced.
The promised land was created by us, by virtue of our expulsion of them.
To Palestinians the promised land is now Israel because they were expelled from there lands.
