What to do?

I've mentioned before that my Mum is a born again Christian. My son goes to her house at least once a week. The last few weeks he's been getting more and more worried about going. Today he told me that she's scaring him. All she talks about is when Christians die they will be going to heaven. She's talking about people like herself....He's now scared of me dying and worried that I'm going to hell.
Would you stop him seeing her if it was your child?
Besides this problem she's a good person...she just seems to be getting more and more obsessed the older shes getting...

She's his grandmother so you think she ought to have some sort of a relationship with him, but at the same time she's a danger to him. I honestly think you have no option but to keep him away Ummmm. If she wants to see him she knows where he is. If she doesn't, then sadly, so be it.
You're going to have a word with your mother on the situation, as your priority must be with your son.
I once had the longest week of my life working with a born again. All he could talk about was religion, he read the bible at break times & listened to religious music constantly.
I challenged his theory of creationism over evolution, when I mentioned that there is cast iron proof of evolution in fossils, he said, "God put them there"....

I'm not a man....
Just to make it clear...my son is, and always will be my first priority. Being my priority I have to look at all angles. She's making him worry unnecessarily....but stopping him from seeing her can also make him worry unnecessarily. Because I don't really see her anymore and I no longer speak to my Sister (different issues) he'll worry that they'll be slagging me off because of it. My sister bad mouthing me seems to be her favourite past time...
Carrust...that's just like her.

It is because she use to be good fun with a great sense of humour. It's all lost on her now.
The day she wrote to complain about this ad expressing her concern that someone could think more of a box of cereal than they do a child is the day I knew there was no return..

Interesting, when i first asked you what your faith was you didn't say catholic, you just said "believe in god' yet you now say that you're catholic and your kids are catholic, but you don't teach them catholicism and you don't want them to have religion forced down their throats and they're free to make their own minds up. This really makes no sense at all, are you catholic or not its a simple choice, and yes if you are going to follow a religion then you usually must force it down their throats such is the nature of religion.
if you really wanted them to make up their own minds then you never would've labeled them "catholic" i assume you have had them blessed, communion etc?or maybe its a choice you're fighting with? Do you doubt your own religion ummmm? Is this what it boils down to, because if so i do understand as me myself was religious as a child and even up to last year and then i started doubting myself, i still believe in god but now follow no religion, i just hope its not a choice i will regret when i finally leave this world.
