Had a bit back for my troubles Ken. Place Treble and 3 place doubles, with the singles stakes returns, just about trebled my total stake for the day. Ahh well said the soul. Had a result in the garden though. "She who must be obeyed" and I got busy and have just about wrung it's neck. Time for a gargle now.

At least you got some success, Togo. Zilch so far on the horses for me. I'll be doing a couple of bets at tonight's meetings so all is not lost just yet.

Unfortunately Berge didn't get his shot on target and we shold have had a penalty late on which woud have made it 2-2 - which is the scoreline i went for @ 16s.

Just a catch up post Ken. Been busy most of the weekend and not engaged fully. Yep we get your mob again next year then. The first ever fixture between our "teams" under FA regs was in 1889!! We are two of the elder statesmen clubs that are still viable. Preston and Notts County were in that league as well I think. Just had a squint at the racing tomorrow for recreational purposes and see that ITV7 have gone all in at Catterick. Will have a further look after my non recreational dental appoinment( Check up).
