Please explain to a non-fan - posts on here suggest Man U is only supported in the South, is that true? (genuine question)
I'm in Lewes, East Sussex & am delighted :-))
members of the anyone but united club rejoice
Not even the redoubtable Mr Digs could score - well, not yet at least...
it was a bloody good gamne and they scored a superb goal againmst the best team in europe and giggsy was amazing

he didnt slip one in tonight though
I am glad Utd lost. Thanks to them and Chelsea throwing money at the team until it sticks, the Premiership has become boring and will be predictable (i.e. winners of the league) for years to come.
It always amazes me why some people support ManU. The people i know who live in the Manchester area usually support teams such as Bolton, Man city , Blackburn etc. I live in West Yorkshire and OH and his family support ManU. Why? The only time they have been to Manchester is to go to the airport. They never actually go to any matches but insist on watching it on telly and will now be sulking.

they just suport sucess really....they probably never seen the ground at Old Trafford and think i have seen the place more than most of their so called fans
Torquay missed chance after chance and lost. manchester United didn't even get the chances!
Which is your team mickrog ?
If you're English why would you support a non English side. I agree Barcelona were the better team tonight. Maybe that is what's wrong with this country.
micmak i think he must be a bertie, 30 + years with nothing , all them years has made them so bitter

i suport a team from where i was born and live and i watch them regually come highs and lows....in other words a true fan not a glory seeker
Which team is that then you seem to be ashamed to say the name.
Actually it's a load of rubbish that no one in Manchester supports united
They tend to have a lot of support in the Irish catholic descendants and also in the west Yorkshire areas where a lot of mancs moved from the cotton industry to the more profitable and secure woollen industry
Another thing common pre war was for united fans that could not get to see united when they weren't at OT was to go see the noisy neighbours

why should i be ashamed
?...seems you know everythimg lol
