It does make me wonder what you've got to do to get a nomination. Tai Woffinden wins the World Speedway title (At just 23 years of age), despite crashing and breaking the same Collarbone TWICE, and Tom Sykes wins the World Superbike Championship and neither get a tickle??? Woffi has to race in 12 rounds across Europe including one meeting in New Zealand. He also was racing in the UK for Wolverhampton and a team in Poland. Sykesy had to race twice in one day for 14 rounds, spanning the globe.

"That he's better than Slobodan Milosevic"

Oh lordy I didn't realise you disliked him THAT much :-)
I'll be voting for Chris Froome (surprise surprise!).
Kept his own ambitions in check when he could have won the Tour de France last year instead of Bradley, if he hadn't followed the team edict. Subsequently finished 2nd overall.
This year has won the Tour of Oman (overall points winner too), the Criterium International, The Tour de Romandie, the Dauphine and the Tour de France (2nd too in the King of the Mountains classification), becoming the first British rider to win the Mont Ventoux stage, one of the most famous and gruelling summit finishes in cycling. The Ventoux holds special feelings for British riders as it's where Tom Simpson died in the 1967 Tour de France.
Not just a one trick pony but a rider with an impressive season of winning results.
He gets my vote.
Sir Ben Ainslie ** ... Mo Farah ... Leigh Halfpenny ... Chris Froome ... Andy Murray. ** Probably the greatest comeback ever in World sport.
I'd go for Paul Scholes or Ryan Giggs again
Failing that I think it will be Andy Murray but I think it should be MCCoy
Life time achievement is surely as forgone conclusion
Now run its course ... see you for the 2014 nominations.
