Great to see him beating others of the Big Four again too. Although honestly it's been Nadal and Federer who have looked the most liekly to drop out of that elite club lately.
No, perhaps not. But we've seen him come back from dips in form before. There is every reason to expect he'll be around at or near the top for a few more years to come yet.
It's been a good week all-round for Murray. Had to wait until Monday to fight a title match in Germany against Kohlschreiber, then over to Madrid post haste in order to play Kohlschreiber again. And then three straight wins over top-six players, beating Raonic, Nishikori and now Nadal, all in straight sets! Quite magnificent.
I expect his good run on clay will be stopped be the other man in stupidly good form, Novak Djokovic, should Murray decide to play in Rome as well.
