Here we go, hoping for a great match between two incredible tennis players.

Anyone want to call for a winner? I don't think I could call this one! I wouldn't mind either winning.

Well done Roger!

Thanks for that Scorpiojo, I was wondering. Serves him right, he's lucky it wasn't much more. I'd like to say maybe it would teach him a lesson to get his attitude in check, but I'm not holding my breath!
So did you also say who was going to win Ken?
the tide has turned
After Roger looked in trouble in the first game of the third set, and in the second set tie break, I've taken to preemptively typing my disappointment in this thread and then waiting to see what happens. Both times Roger came back. I'm going to keep it up as long as he looks like he might be losing.
Tennis is not somthing I usually watch... but are enthralled.
LOL Jim. Works for me ...
Sometimes.
Good for you Arksided, you won't get better than this.
After DIKovic's unforgiveable verbal assault in that ball girl, I hope it's The Fed who is the winner.
^^^ ON !!
See earlier in the thread, janbee -- that incident has been overblown!
^^^ or AT !!
Ladybirder; i split my stakes on 3-2 to Fed @ 6/1 and to Djoko @ 11/2. I had already placed a separate bet on Friday after the semi finals that the final would go to 5 sets @ 5/2, which would return £70. If it gets to 2-2, i can sit back and relax, and count my winnings - either £2000 or £210. But let's just get to 2-2 first:-)
waves at Jan.....hi jan xxx
^^^

LOL, that should read £200
The ball girl accepted his apology so that's good enough for me.
It's on a par with kicking the cat when you're peed off I suppose but more public.
Anyway this thread is about the match so I shall say no more on this subject.
Hi Minty... waves back xx

Aww, I was getting quite excited for you there haha! £200 still not too shabby! I never think to bet on tennis, the National is usually the only time I step in a betting shop.
Well I'm not a betting person Ken but I think you're safe at 2-2.
There's a guy on the racing forum to which i belong who has a bet on Novak Djokovic to receive a warning for racket abuse @ 7/1:-)
