As a slight aside, I am not an England fan (by any means) but I went along to see Ben Cohen give a talk the other night. Very special guy: here's a World Cup winner (one of two in the family) whose dad was murdered by thugs 3 years before the 2003 final, and then learned at the end of his career, and married with children, that he had become a gay icon!
And now he's set up a charity to combat bullying
And they're going to turn his life into a Hollywood film
With people like that, at the risk of sounding a bit pompous, I think English rugby will be ok. In the midst of all the hype, doom and gloom, someone shoould take a closer look at that life and reflect on what really matters.
