I pray for the safety of these innocent people and worry about my two young friends Viktoryia and Nadya,they live in a town on the Belarusian border with Russia , children of the Chernobyl disaster who friends of mine had them here for two weeks when they were little girls and I’ve been in touch ever since with them

i am watching the BBC News, this is big crisis, and i can't see it being resolved in a good way. Putin will win, he won't be overthrown any day soon. Feel sorry if thats the word for the people of the Ukraine, who knows what their lives will be like from now on.

Each time I see that Putins tanks are on the Belarus border , my stomach turns over as their town is on the border , I feel for the Ukrainian people , Putin appears to have lost the plot and that’s very dangerous for the world

I am not sure Putin has lost the plot Bobbi. He has always said he was in favour of the Soviet Union and didn't like it when it was split up. He seems hellbent on bringing all the new states back together under the umbrella of the USSR.
