A truly dreadful event Ric.............I was actually working in Bradford at that time.
I've just posted something on my Facebook page.

I've said on this site that it's something that's always in my memory (Along with the Hillsborough disaster). I can never forget the images of that day (I would have been twelve and saw the images on TV). A very sad day.

They shall never be forgotten. R.I.P.
Been reading about this in the papers over the last few days. I couldn't believe it was 25 years ago! Time flies, but a tragic day for all concerned.
There have been some bad tragedies in Football apart from the Bradford Fire, namely the Ibrox disaster where 66 people died in 1971 and the Hillsborough disaster of 1989 where 96 Fans lost their lives.
We should remember them all. RIP
Sorry - I didn;t see this previously, and have just posted something similar on chatterbank. Wherever it's posted, it's good that it's remembered. RIP.
Its one of those days when you never forget where you were when you heard the news;

I was on the brink of leaving school (doing my CSE's) and was at a house party in Haslemere. We'd walked up from Liphook and it was all over the TV.
RIP indeed Ric well said.
I posted a tribute on my Facebook page as well as a WBA messageboard.
A terrible day for Football lovers everywhere.
RIP
