they have been fined $100000 for the slight rule bending - so Alonso could collect max points, after Massa had led 50 laps before letting his teammate Alonso pass at the hairpin,
bring the sport into disrepute.

do you think they should have been disqualified or dropped down the order.
or this was a fair decision by the governing body. so far???

Well said New Judge. I was extremely disappointed in Martin's comments. I do think he is a brilliant sports commentator. F1 has been so much more enjoyable without the red cars dominating. This year's F1 season has now been soured. Will follow your lead EDDIE and make a complaint.
I think you will find it was my idea
LOL
Sorry, grovel, grovel, grovel, etc.
Not to mention what Bernie gets (allegedly!).

Thought the people cheesed off with Ferrari today might enjoy this:

Motor racing is all a bit dull, isn't it.
sundays race was dull definately
Happily ... I didn't see it.

But then, why would I ???
DULL - I refer you to tonights repeat of Top Gear - with archive of Aryton Senna going from 5th to 1st in 45 seconds
I rest my case
That doesn't happen now.

Nowadays, if anyone actually overtakes anyone else during the entire race ...

... it makes the headlines !
actually jayne, this season has been good thus far, apart from a parade race in bahrain its been exciting. ferrari's old tricks have soured this weekends race unfortunatly.
Well, I have to admit that I haven't actually watched a Grand Prix this year.

(or for decades, actually)
Would agree with cazz, until this weekend this season has been the best for years - lots of excitement and real racing. It was too good to last. Ban Ferrari!!

Motor racing is the only sport I can get excited about watching!
Oh, Lofty ... booooooring !!

=0)
so your dull comment is a little unwarranted then..
Yes, I suppose so.

=0(
When was it exciting?

Maybe one lap out of 50 - all the overtaking is done in the pits - Its all about "strategy" and tyres.

Top gear last night only proved what we are missing not what we have. Its so booooring, regulations and constraints have killed it.
dave, f1 has not changed much at all, I have grand prixs from 80's and 90's on video, the race at donnington where senna overtook everone was largely devoid of action after those initial laps. sundays race and bahrain have probably been the most boring this year.

but dont kid yourself about formula 1, it hasnt changed at all. I have loads of races where beggar all happens, and some races where its very exciting. the most boring part of F1 in the 90s was the schumacher ferrari years where people switched off in droves
In answer to the OP, yes they did cheat. And hasn't it made F1 exciting... all the motorsport forums are buzzing ;-p
frantic gossiping is never exciting, look at this place For Funks Sake..
