I want a touch screen tablet pc. But do i?

I am seriously tempted by an android touchscreen tablet. £149 from Sainsburys. [I think thats what they are.] I want to be able to catch up with emails, facebook, and possibly ebay while away on holiday etc, or jusy quicklya home. I want something light and easy to set up. Am I pointed in the right direction. The other thing I thought of was a netbook. Which is better?
