Viruses
I have just run `PC Speed-up` which did a scan and found 2816 problems, and then run another with `Microsoft Security Essentials` which declared it found 35230 items. What`s a feller supposed to do? The first would like me to pay £19 to speed up my PC, and the Microsoft say`s it`s OK and is monitoring the PC and protect it, FREE.

When you say MSE found 35230 items is that how many files it scanned, or how many problems it found?
If it is the former then I would be inclined to leave well alone and continue using that program to protect your PC. Ignore the other program completely.
