Why doesn't he get this checked out at the doc?
Firstly....this is not cardiac pain.........rest assured.
The other "rheumatic " type pains are difficult to comment on without a more detailed history.
How old he is?
Any on going medical problems?
Any medication.
I couldn't believe it when I read your description of his problems - you could have been describing mine, which have been going on for at least 10 years (on and off), and getting worse. I just put mine down to appalling posture (working at computer up to 14 hours per day alternating with hanging a bass guitar round my neck for 3 hours at a stretch) and old age, coupled with a neck injury i sustained 30 years ago.
... should say, I'm not anticipating imminent demise - periodically, I see an osteopath, which helps a great deal (though decent ones are few and far between in Greece).

well he is 37 he said he may go to doctors but he isnt one for taking any sort of pills etc.he on no mediaction but he does seem to get a lot of trapped nerves but this chest pain he has had before but it just seems worse this time but if he relaxes a bit it cleared up last time after few days...trouble is he isnt one for relaxing he liks work no matter how bad he feels he mostly still goes..but he is sat at a desk most of day pressing a pedal on a machine to opperate..im sure its a fitness thing but by time he gets home he is shattered and this time of year we just sit and watch tv etc..do you think then all this is muscle related tightness etc and more excercise and stuff should help.he also smokes but not many id say around 10 max a day if that
I think that you have hit the "nail on the head"
More exercise, cut out smoking and watch his diet.
Ibuprofen 400mgms was and when necessary for the pain.

Hi honey. I can't help with your partner's problems, but I noticed on your last post that you are pregnant I remember your posts from last year and had wondered what happened with your scare in October so I just wanted to congratulate you and wish you good luck :) x
