Windows Update

I use automatic updates which are usually fine but today I have a notification of downloaded updates both on my PC and my laptop. After installing them I get the same updates appear time after time. Although it doesn't tell me I don't need to restart, I have tried that method and also completely shutting down. The update is in 3 parts as a Security Framework update. Any help please? Thanks Tel

Try resetting windows updates with the tool from here...

I used the fix tool recommended, says it fixes the problem but the problem just reoccurs.
This seems to be a wider issue.

I switched Automatic Updates to notify to stop it downloading on switchoff. The three updates I am getting are from June 2011. They appeared at around the same time as telboy1938.
