pale screen

Every now and then my laptop screen goes pale, but rights itself after I click on an option it gives me. It has only started doing this recently. I m abit wary in case it becomes permanent. I'm on Windows 7. Many thanks.

strange mine does it as well don't know what it is. Anyone else have this?
