Computer On Start-Up

I have a minor problem on my 7 year old Dell Laptop (upgraded to Windows 7). On startup a particular music programme comes up every time despite me regularly unticking the box on the start list in system configuration.

In the music program, is there a menu for Perferences or Pptions? Usually there is a tick box that states to "run when windows starts' with some programs. Failing that, please advise what the music program is called.

Have a look in ........ Start/All Programs/Startup to see if there's anything in there.
If not, look in ... Start/Administrative Tools/System Configuration/Startup

If you find it, try disabling.

oops ^^ I see you've already tried that. Try removing it with Ccleaner.

What music program?

Thanks to all who responded, particularly TTG. There is a settings menu within the program which I've not noticed before and in there was a ticked box saying open on startup which I have now unticked. Much appreciated.
