Computer And Printer
This week I updated my computer to windows 8.1 from windows 8 and now my printer will not work, it is telling me that there is compatibility issues. I have tried to reinstall the printer but no luck. The printer is wifi but I even tried putting lead in and still nothing. Is there any way round this or do I need a new printer ?

I, also, had a similar problem last week, after installing a new PC, but keeping my old Epson Stylus Photo RX 640 all-in-one printer/scanner. The computer recognised my printer, but would not allow it scan, giving the same excuse as you had. I did the following, and I got the Epson to scan as well as print:
1. click Start button.
2. click Devices and Printers.
Icons of printers appear.
3. right-click on your printer icon.
Drop-down menu appears, with various options.
4. left-click on the options, try each one in turn. But do not click on Remove Device.
Best of luck.
