I've heard there's a certain virus going around which is in two parts. Separately they wouldn't be detected by any anti-virus program but when found both find their way onto the had drive they combine to make smaller viruses which, when certain words are tapped spring into life and destroy what's on the hard drive. Anyone got any info?

Has this got anything to do with being April the 1st?
Not heard anything...though try this site

they target=_blank>http://www.vmyths.com

they specialise in debunking the many rumours that abound on the net about viruses (virii?) and trojans.

hmm...whilst i'm hesitant to waste my time on what looks like a April fool you could also try securityresponse.symantec.com or indeed the websites of any of the antivirus software developers - mcafee.com, sophos.com, messagelabs.com etc etc

I doubt this is an April Fools joke as I was told about it a few days ago; it's merely coincidence I happen to post it now; and thanks fellas, I will check it out on that website.
