opening photos
when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Morning all... some brightness in the distance, I hope that rain doesn't head here, my garden's starting to feel soggy underfoot.
It's a long night when you don't sleep neti, you'll have to have a catch up this afternoon. I did ok last night and you'll be glad to know I haven't remembered any dreams....yet :)
neti/shaney were your televisions running 20 minutes late? It was the The 7.39 on mine....lol. I enjoyed it, great actors but there's been a lot of criticism. I didn't watch Bletchley either, if I remember correctly I lost interest in the last series.
Speaking of railways do you know there's a new series with Michael Portillo on BBC2 at 6.30?

I need to go to the hairdressers, maybe next week.
Went out and had a coffee which I was determined not to do! but place was empty and then my gay best friend turned up moaning that I hadn't queried where he had been and I said the same to him, apparently half of the village has gone down with this lurgy 1-3 days it seems to last. Feeling much better today although snotty.
My washing machine decided to go "flop bot" wouldn't move on from 30" prog, so I had to nurse it through each stage and then it wouldn't bloomin' spin, so luckily I have a spin dryer.
Have done the €millions, really need to win, times are getting bad as Mr N hasn't too much work. Have tidied the house but not hoovered or scrubbed, that can wait for a while.

Hello all. Another noisy night with much fidgeting. I had to get up and showered early today because the tree man might have been coming from the council. Good job I did, we had a storm right overhead, thunder and lightning at the same time, it sounded like someone dropping a house on my roof. The dogs were very scared but there was no blind panic which is amazing, the new tablets work really well. Anyway today is a catching up on sleep and small jobs day for all of us, we've had quite a short and broken nights with the weather.
Glad you are feeling up to going out Neti...you know what i am going to say about housework don't you?
ROBI....boot report.....boots are divine. size 5.5 fits my broad size 5 foot with a thin sock. I can walk easily in the heels but they are much higher than I am used to so I wouldn't go on a day's shopping trip in them. I am currently treating them with coats of leather treatment spray to keep them nice.
When I was about 4, maybe 5 I had for christmas, a cowboy outfit (not a cowgirl outfit, I was adamant on that) with it were red and white plastic cowboy boots and I lived in those boots till I grew out of them. All of a sudden i am 4 years old again!

Been a lovely but windy/headachey day here. I'm pleased you're happy with your boots woofy but I've decided they'd be just a little too high...and I'm already tall enough. I have little old ladies tapping me on the knee and asking me to reach things down for them...they're sorry they did when I drop it on their head.
If you win snottibiza I'll do an Irish jig and set fire to your money with the sparks.

had a nice lunch with old colleagues (gay man and Muslim woman, don't tell them in News). Came home to an email reminding me that for some reason I agreed to join a focus group on the Tower of London and I'm supposed to be there in the morning. Been ploughing through old emails and can't for the life of me find what it's about or why anyone invited me in the first place (I don't recognise the name on the emails).
Anyway, I shall recommend that they resume public beheadings, especially of Bulgarian immigrants, that should be a big draw.

That was a good day. Just cooked liver and bacon etc with mash and sprouts for Mr N he seemed pleased. I continued to eat the sketti (Mama June's) with a fried egg. Very pleasing. He got both the bean and the King in the King cake, so I demolished the 2nd one by hand and found them!
He is worried aboout my cough but surely if I feel OK then it cannot be bronchitis or anything untoward, can it?
