hp photosmart

my printer is a hp photosmart c5180 all in one,i can print out photos or full A4 size paper ,for some reason it has started to print everything from the photo tray ,i removed the paper now it just says out of paper ,i have tried to reset it ,when i press setup it gives the option of "main tray" or "photo tray" but it still prints from the photo tray ,can anyone help me ??
