when you rename a sheet in a work book is there any way to link the name on the tab to any Specific cell within that sheet .

ie: cell 1A ?

Try this on a blank sheet

On Sheet1 type the following into any cell
=Sheet2!A1
goto to sheet2 and put in some text or a number.

go back to sheet1 and you will find that the text/number has been pulled in.

if you rename the tabs simply replace the sheet2 with the name of the tab.
