vista and Roxio EMC9 problem?

Hi does any one know when the update patch for Easy media creator 9 will be released by Roxio?. I bought the software at the weekend after someone had lent me a dubious copy i wanted an original disk. I had used it before and know there is a patch for drag to disk but there still says a driver problem when using vista ( with the original disk.). I have tried contacting Roxio and cant seem to get any answers ( before anyone asks i tried contacting them many times over the last few months before I bought the software). The web site for Roxio says the current version now on sale 9.01 is vista compliant but PC world are still selling version 9.00 which isnt and thats the one I got. I cant take it back to pc world now its been used can I and ask for the updated one?.
