How do I get my files to stay in number order when I open a folder? They are always mixed up and I have to sort by filename everytime I open a folder full of photos.
Is there a way to disable the start up box when you turn the PC on, I am forever turning it on and coming back 5 minutes later expecting to find it all up and running and connected to the web only to see I have to press OK to get it going.
Lastly - I sometimes have trouble closing a webpage, I press the X at top right and just get a dunk sound. I have to go control-alt-delete to end the programme which works eventually but it still makes the dunk sound.

Not sure what your problem is exactly. All files that have a number for their name should come up in order. Number 1 to 9 should have a 0 in front of them or else the computer will group, say a 4 with the fourties.

You have ofcourse used VIEW>ARRANGE ICONS BY>NAME.
And when you are happy with how your folder looks go to the TOOLS tab and choose FOLDER OPTIONS where you can select to make all folders work the same.

To stop the computer waiting for a reply when starting up you need to delete all the users accounts.

The "dunk" is an error sound and is incorporated in the pleasures of using a computer! The browser has frozen and there is probably a register malfunction. Live with it or try and repair the browser via it's website.
