i am trying to download a game but halfway through it says my computer has a virus, i have scanned the game and my computer for spyware and anti-virus but nothing has been found. any ideas please thankyou

Where are your downloading the game from, a genuine site, or a dodgy site like limewire or a torrent site?
If it is from a dodgy site then I am afraid some people do hide viruses inside games and other programs.
They tease you with the offer of a free game, but then catch you by installing a virus on your computer and maybe stealing your bank details or your userid and password from ebay or paypal.
