Another question for you knowledgable guys out there. When I visit Tenerife, I use my friends wireless connection (he lives next door).. I am taking a new laptop out with me in 2 weeks time and wonder if I am able to set up the wireless connection (I have the "Network Key") prior to leaving UK. If so, can you give me advice on how I go about it please?
Thanks

it's possible but you'd need the SSID too... but as you won't know if it works until you get there so I really don't see the point!

if you have the network key wait until you get there, attempt to connect to the network and it will prompt you for the key, enter it and away you go.

once you've done it once the profile will be stored so next time you go it will connect automatically.

Thanks Chuck. I have used the connection before but as I was taking a new laptop out with me (and arriving late at night) I was merely trying to save time. Tel
