I have some flash video on my laptop and want to know what format I need to change it to so that it will play on a normal dvd to a tv please?

all DVD players support different formats so check you DVD players manual to see what formats it supports.

You could download and install Realplayer (free version).
This will allow you to download and burn to dvd any flv video such as youtube.

Or try Sothink dvd maker. It's free and will convert a lot of different formats such as avi to dvd but not not flv without paying for extra codecs
