instead of yes - additional no

how far from router?
can you use wire
how about homeplug?
Question Author
OK thanks
it isvery close to router, within about 10 feet. What is the wire &homeplug?
if you are within 10 feet - a wire connection is far better option - a 5m ethernet cable will cost about 10
it plugs into the back of the router and your machine - should just work ....

homeplug is a fingy wot plugs into a mains socket near the router - and another that plugs in near the machine - it uses your mains to connect - faster and more reliable
.... but a waste of money for 10 feet

Thanks I understand now, looks like a wire connection then, that seems simple-many thanks once again
