Zone Alarm Firewall

Since downloading Zone Alarm Firewall as recommended in an earlier posting ( I only had the one supplied with XP ) some emails, when opened ,are coming through with the images replaced by the small square box with the red 'x' in it indicator. How do I stop this and get back to seeing the images.

what mail service and/or client you use would help.

Sorry,CF, OE and email from getmeaticket site. I've been into Tools>Options and checked that the blocked images box is still 'unticked'.This problem sometimes happens when receiving emails from Argos and Tesco

Further to my last post above even though 'Trusteer Rapport' is running I fail to get the notification symbol in the address line when using protected sites. This has only occured since installing Zone Alarm. Any help appreciated

Have you still got XP firewall switched on? Like anti virus software you only need one firewall running., two can cause problems. Another cause could be you haven't set the preferences correctly in Zone Alarm.

Personally I would remove Zone Alarm and just use the XP firewall. As your problems started when you downloaded Zone Alarm they may go away.

To test it, disable Zone Alarm, make sure the XP firewall is active. If your problems go away then remove Zone Alarm.
