safe mode

hi guys,
my brothers pc for some reason started up and went to the safe start up page but its stuck on it no matter what he presses
eg if he says start windows normally it trys to start but just goes back to safe mode screen
any ideas?
prev lost hard disk local disk (e)
  
next PC won't start.

no it just keeps going back to safe mode screen

Did your bro get an installation disc with pc? if so re-install from disc.
