mileage on Google Earth

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to calculate mileage to and from a town or city on Google Earth?
If not is there another program or website that can do this?

You can use Google Maps, amongst many other route planners, to achieve this...

unless you mean the direct, "as the crow flies" measurement between locations which may be measured in Google Earth using the Ruler button.
