Laptop

Hoping to get rid of desk and desktop, so need a laptop. Must have 17"+ screen (eyesight!); weight (of no consequence...it's going nowhere!); able to cope with basic computing only...e-mailing, word-processing, googling, AnswerBanking etc (no games!)

On that basis, what is the best buy at under £400.00?

We have a few Dell Vostro laptops where I work and I think they are very good value for money.

Thanks for your suggestion, Chuck, but - once VAT and delivery are added to the basic cost - we're looking at well over £500.00, even for the most basic model. I'm not prepared to go there, but cheers anyway.
