Video Card ..DirectX ?
Yesterday ,I was playing a game from BigFish, which I have done so many times but twice in the middle of playing a blue window with lots of writing on flashed on the screen very quickly and the laptop went blank, then it restarted and I was able to continue with my game, however, when it did it a second time I did not go back to it,
Both times when I opened up internet explorer a Microscoft window came up saying this:
"Upgrade your Display Adapter

It would also be helpful to know if graphics are onboard or a separate graphics card. To check on a PC look at rear panel and the connections. If onboard graphics the monitor connection will be with the ports and keyboard/mouse PS2 connectors. If a card, willbe further down in it's own group.
