During the last year I have had to reload Windows XP on my PC a couple of times due to blue screens etc. Luckily my personal data has never been lost. On checking my Data drive (500GB) today I noticed it only had 31GB spare. On looking at folders in My Docs I have 3 or 4 folders with either my first name, shortened 1st name or full name. I must have set these accounts up each time I reloaded Windows. All of these folders have virtually the same info, ie same pictures, same music, same videos etc. Is it safe to delete all but one of these folders or if I delete one folder would this info be removed from the others? Should I play safe and buy an external hard drive to place this info on? Many thanks and hope it was a great Xmas!!!

In theory (unless you've done something strange during the setup) you can delete anything and everything from your D drive without casing a problem.
OH and you can always delete any personal documents, music, or photographs from anywhere, they are not system critical in any way.
