Some email provides (ie Lotus Notes) give the option of REPLY which then only sends YOUR message back to the originator - or REPLY WITH HISTORY which means not only does your message get sent but also a copy of the email that came to you from the originator in the first place ................ the latter is most used, and most useful, in that it allows you to read back the whole thread of an email conversation rather than just isolated replies .................... most useful in business when, if it takes someone days and days to reply to a simple questions and they than REPLY simply with "yes" instead of REPLY WITH HISTORY, you are left wondering "yes that?" as by then you may have forgotten what you asked them!!! Hope that makes sense Puzzled001 x
