I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

There are some good looking workmen Jude :)

Lol shaney, there's nothing like a big kid style sing song to cheer you up. I'm envious of you seeing John Denver, I loved him.
Cold here tonight too. My feet are frozen and they won't thaw out.
Mr N turned up at the hospital an hour early and they saw to him, lucky devil, I have to wait hours usually.

Curries were excellent, evenif I did put in 5 spice powder by mistake because someone had rearranged the shelves and moved the curry powder, and the two are in similar jars!!!
I have to take car to the garage at 8am as the syncro has gone on first gear, Mr N will follow me and bring me home as it's halfway to the next village.
Well all the covers are back on the threepiece and some posh new washable throws on top. Just the new rug to go down and its done till after christmas. The walls really really need to be grey but that's not happening this year now.
Hoping that the fireworks are over and the weather is not going to be noisy as I want to have a lovely time with sis who arrives tomorrow.
haven't heard any fireworks here tonight so maybe Nov 5 is past. I remember 10 years ago they used to be every night from Diwali to Christmas but they've been much more limited since then. They seem to be on the increase again, though. I don't mind them myself, not being a dog, but it wouldn't hurt to restrict the sales period to pre-Bonfire night.
jno, the sales are mostly restricted, although you can buy them all year round online and from specialist shops. people round me seem to have them for halloween and then again around bonfire night and they will have them on a night that suits them and not stick to the 5th.
However all seems to be quiet here and I am going to be grateful for small mercies.
Quiet here too ,no whizz bangs .
We used to have a neighbour a few doors up who had a firework for every event .I remember one evening in the summer we were sitting outside, all nice and quiet and he let a load of the damn things off because his daughter had passed her driving test .Shaney went into one and Mr S shouted ..loudly .
I wont repeat what he shouted ,but Foxtrot Oscar was mentioned..lol. I think the chap let a firework off if someone broke wind .Drove us and other neighbours nuts,we were glad to see the back of 'em .
Have a nice peaceful time with your sister Woofy .It's goodnight from me ,sleep toight .
Good morning firecrackers!
By 'eck its chill today, and some beggar his lit a bonfire so smoke everywhere, Mr N has thought I am incapable of driving without a first gear and has taken car in on his own, which means a long long walk back on a main road without pavements. I'm in bed with a cuppa.

Morning all...grey and miz again, I hate these dizzy/sinussy days, if we really have to have winter I'd rather have it frosty and bright.
Just a few fireworks last night but I daresay it's not all over yet. Some people have more money than sense...

Chilly neti? Accu says you're 18C!.... throws some mismatched eggs
hello all, wet and noisy overnight here and wet all day. The trouble with days and days of noisy night is that it takes less and less to worry the dogs so we had worry and pacing last night even though it wasn't nearly as bad as it has been. Heigh ho, this too shall pass.
Morning all
Quite breezy here , dull and dreary.
I'd planned to go to Lowestoft but the best laid plans etc ,ache mode kicked in.
I wish it would it would be cold ,dry and crisp instead of this damp all the time.

Miz time of year inti?
I'm getting dafter...but you knew that.
Notes to self...

When ordering shopping on the internet it's not free, the money will be taken from your account.
When making a cuppa remember to put a tea bag in.
Porrige straight from the microwave is *** hot!
lol Robi, When it has been crazy here, my record is making myself coffee without putting coffee in the cup THREE times in succession.
Robi, 18º but it is all relevant, compared to recent 35º it is chilly and now it is wet.

It is the car's gear stick which is not working, poor Mr N said it just went into any gear it wanted when he was taking it to the garage. None to be had on the island until tomorrow so that'll be 2 more days then.

Hasve been industrious today, have put up a venetain blind in hija's room woithout a drill, and even though woofy has her doubts it is solid!! Have altered a kingsize duvet to put the double duvet for when sister comes, and have got the carpet in and hoovered again several times, it looks and smells OK atm, till the cat remembers and then wees on it!, but need something underfoot as the tiles get very damp and cold. I have sloshed bleach and water and washing up liquid in the empty pool to clean it, and that looks OK too, started to rain now and getting dark, oh goody!!

Mexico manaña.

Welcome woofy's sis, have a great time together!
Pouring down, Mr N rained off from golf, TV pixellating, boring!!!
Hop mexico gets you sorted Neti.
Hi all. Lovely lunch today with chips. Don't have them very often so it went down well. Tai chi was good and relaxing. We stopped at 11 and recognised Armistice Day.
There were a few fireworks round here last night but they didn't last long.
Busy lady Neti! You're alwas doing something in your house.
Have a good time with your sister Woofy.
Is it your eyes which are still bothering you Neti?
Dismal day today and chilly but I'm not really complaining because we have had some good days up to now. I would welcome the frosty type because it's good to walk in.
Off now for my usual cuppa. Laters Gaters!
Jude it's my eye but caused by a cyst on a tooth root, and cannot afford 850€ that the dentist asks for. I haven't told Mr N. Will see what mexico suggests.
Neti, I really hope all goes well with The Mexico. Have I missed something (probably) but why do you call him/her the Mexico. :)
just a typo, Jude, he was a medico until neti got her hands on him.
