Security message
I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..
"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party".
(There's the option to cancel or continue)
Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

I will have a catch up this evening when I've had my dinner. I would like to say though it is good to see you all on here again after a very busy time for me. Today is a lovely day here and I have finally caught up with Fuschia and we went for a good long walk up towards Shardlow and back through Elvaston Castle.
I won't go on about what I've been up to suffice it to say it has included decorators, floor man, plumber, and visitors. I was that cream cracked I slept like a log most nights.
Derby County kept me busy yesterday beating Wolverhampton 5 - 0.
The Poppy Day Rememberance before the match was very moving and the crowds 1 minutes silence was brilliant. Totally respectful.
It was Steady's 44th birthday in the week so that took up some time I wentup to see home and his girlfriend was staying so we had a really good getogether.
Aches and pains luckily for me are not so bad except my left leg is now giving me jib especially when I lie down so when I go to bed I've started taking a couple of paracetamol which helps. Well I'm back, not necessarily normal, but I'm here! :)
I'll see you later after I've read your posts. Love xx

I love to channel my youth too Neti, I can't do the miniskirts and low cut cheesecloth blouses any more but I love boots and jeans and big scarves. Would love a decent velvet jacket too.
Jno its amazing what you can dig up in the Forest. My old dog used to bring me horse bones, once a whole jaw, and I understand that you can find truffles if you know where to look.

Hi Jude ,nice to see you again .I see Derby are top ! Norwich have gone way down the table after good start .Glum faces here :)
I've been looking for a black velvet jacket for ages Woofy .I used to have a navy one many moons ago.The only ones I find are far too expensive for something that would only be worn now and again .

Hi all. Have finally caught up. Firstly Robi, hope you are feeling better sounds like you are going through it a bit at the moment. I'm happy the mammo went ok though that is always a relief.
Shaney yes I'm still Rocking. I actually had a rock and roll with a friend at a 'do'
I went to. My niece's band were playing at a charity do for ward 313 Derby Royal organised by her 2 daughters. The friend said your sister tells me you R&R so I did. They raised £1100.
Waving to Woofy. Sorry to hear about the trouble with fireworks for your pets. It can be really agravating you and scary for them. Like Robi says its sounded so loud round here. Steady's birthday money for me went on that wool tunic dress and a jumper. I'll add it on here when I've finished this post as I'm a bit useless doing it during. It's from Per Una. You might guess.
Hi Neti thanks for passing on my message. I really hope you get you eye sorted. I still have dry eyes when I wake up and have a regular script from the Dr.
Lastly waves to Jno and Lottie if your looking in. Hope you're ok. I was worrying if missed your birthday too Jno.
Hope I've not missed anyone or anything important. Let me know if I have.
By the way Neti i wished I had won the lotto. I'm off now to check my ticket from last night. Oight oight all.

With apologies for the mistakes on the previous post. This is the jumper I got from Per Una with the help from my son.

could be, but you see what I mean, the way it hangs down one side or seems to.
I have found three possible distant relations in the workhouse, and one in a convict hospital ship in Portsmouth

"1860 - target" - that would have kept the local dogs awake.
Also one who was a professor of music. But I have no idea if we're all really related; we just share the same name.

Afternoon each...well after a glorious day yesterday and a sunny start today it's all gone grey and cold. I'm glad I went out early-ish but I got a bit paranoid at one point because lots of people seemed to be smiling at me, I was starting to think I'd gone in my hairnet or slippers :) It must have been ma noo wee tartan scarf...and that's where any Scottish connection will end. My sister loves Scotland but I have no desire to visit. I doubt we have family or even ancestors up there.
You're doing very well with your searches jno...please be aware many of my family came from down your way, it's a small world :).
Good to have you back in the fold Jude, lovely jumper, very retro.
I vaguely remember having a suede fringed waistcoat & lots of those woven suede belts with long fringes...I've got a black velvet jacket but I'm not sure it still fits...I had a fabulous one in the early 70's, very fitted with a big round collar, it cost me a packet. I've got a tux style jacket I know does fit, I just don't go to tux style occasions too often. :o/

Hello all
Lovely day ,wish I'd put the washer on but I had to scuttle to the hairdresser and forgot about it .I've been highlighted and straightened .I've been growing the layers out of my hair for a while now and I've had it cut into an inverted bob.
I do like these jumper dress things but they're not for me,they would cling in all the wrong places ..lol.
I love a scarf Robinia ,I wore my animal print one today .In fact I'm still wearing it ,my neck's cold :)
Hope you're all ok .

Weather is strange, hot one minute then cloudy and chilly, no idea what to wear.
Mr N has gone tot he hospital for an x-ray on his knee, nothing will come of it!, I have made a chicken curry and a veg samball, hate all this cooking again.
There's a big pile of ironing in the spare bedroom waiting for me, but tomorrow will do.

Woofy I listen to manunanum on Friday every week on the Simon Balls request programme. It's request night and it gets asked for. They ask for 'that song' and I sing along and have learned it all the way through. Love it!
The jumper Jno has the same pattern on the back as well. So yes, it could be taken for a scarf. Albeit a very thin one ;)
I was in the precinct today too Robi. Their renovation is coming along isn't it.
There looks like there is going to be better parking on the P.O. Side.
I've just bought my Chelsea v The Rams ticket on line. I have real doubts that we won'that win but it will be interesting to see Chelsea.
Off now to make a nice cuppa tea. See ya later gaters!,
