Broadband/phone connection problem!
1 Answers
(Calling all 'techy' people!)
Hi
Please can anyone advise what I need to do, or what I'm doing wrong......I've bought a new laptop, which is connected to (AOL) broadband via a wireless router. There are also two telephones in the house, both of which require ADSL filters attached at the sockets in order for broadband to work. However....it muck up the phones, as whenever the phone rings, it only rings on one phone and the ringing tone is very strange!?
If I remove one of the filters then the phones revert to working as normal, but then broadband doesn't operate with only one filter?
I've tried contacting BT, AOL, etc, but they all says it's not their problem. Grrrr!
Can anyone help please!?
