Ebay
I recently posted an item on ebay, it was quite heavy, so I wanted to mark it as 'local pick-up only'.
However, I was not able to list it until I had stated which carrier service I was using, so I put Royal Mail Parcels, but with no postage cost.
It was listed as 'free postage', so I have had to email each bidder, making sure they know it is for pick-up only.
I have seen items listed as 'local pick-up only' so I wonder how they manage this?

Reading the information, on that page, under 'Are there any exemptions?' suggests that the best you can do (to indicate 'buyer collects') is to select Courier : Heavy and bulky items from the drop-down menu and then use the item description to make it clear that you'll only sell to a buyer who arranges collection.
