I have bought a netbook for grandaughters Birthday/Xmas as she hopes to go to Australia in the new year. I wanted to install skype on the net book and my laptop which I have done. The problem is to make free skype to skype calls bothe her username and mine have to be in /on the contacts list, but how do I do it.
I have spent hours trying to work it out but now I must admit defeat.
From previous answers I know that "Rojosh" uses skype perhaps he could lead me. Or is there a site giving click by click instructions on how to operate the system.
I wanted to have the system operating by 7th dec, birthday when the netbook goes out of my control TIA

Go to New, which in my skype is on the top left. It then gives the option to add a contact and just follow the instructions. The other person then gets the message that you want to add them and they have to agree.

There is also a drop down menu Contacts, which takes you through the same process.
