This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to read the data on a mobile phone SIM card via a card reader? I've got the model shown in the link below:

I've looked at the Maplin's link and then Googled the device to see what other sites say about it. Nowhere can I find any reference to it working with SIM cards. (Most card readers don't).

I bought a USB attachment once that claimed to read all sorts of cards including mobile phone cards. They lied. When it was delivered there was no slot for a SIM card. Unsure what I did with it, don't think I ever used it.

I think most of them only read memory cards; SIM cards are more than just a memory store. You need to ensure the description says SIM and not just a vague lie about reading mobile cards.
