microsoft outlook - Inbox

I lost the split screen view on my inbox - how do i get it back to how i like it.
where the emails are in the top half - when selected shows details in the lower half.
i tried a few in tools but couldn't find the right one.

it's under view > reading pane.

It's actually not a good idea to have it switched on from a security point of view though.
