I have a folder on my desktop which i created to sort out some music. Now it won't delete. There are two file in there of 0 bytes and one that is 3mb. They don't have a suffix. When I try to delete it i get a message saying something like 'no longer in this location. Please verify location and try again'. It's driving me mad. I've tried resetting i've googled, but there is no advice.
Try running a check disk (open my computer, right click on the drive and select properties, then click on the tools tab and click the check now button under error checking.
Make sure automatically fix is selected and click OK, You'll have to do a restart of the computer and then the drive will be checked on startup (may take some time)
Thanks ChuckF. I read about using Command prompt to find and delete it, but I didn't fancy trying that. If your idea doesn't work, would you suggest that instead?
