I have been looking at BT's broadband offers. Is it possible to quantify 40 GB usage monthly. I am non-business user using broadband mostly in evenings for what I would call general use. Thanks.

40GB will be fine as long as you don't spend huge amounts of time a month watching or downloading videos.

Six months ago my broadband usage package was 10GB I was off work for three weeks and spent all my time on line and just exceeded my allowance.
A casual user such as yourself won't ever use 40GB a month IMO
